Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of Worley for a Topographical Surveyor to join the project team in the Aberdeen office, on a PAYE basis for 12 months.

Key Aims and Objectives:

Carry out a wide range of surveys in line with relevant procedures

Carry out laser scans in line with relevant procedures

Processing of all captured data and preparation of final deliverables

Lead and mentor Dimensional Control survey personnel

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:

Attend planning / mobilisation brief with the Survey Co-Ordinator / Client and ensure that the Scope of Work and contract deliverables is fully understood

Carry out pre-operations check on survey and scanning equipment

Obtain pertinent permits on clients sites as required

Carry out / assist with Dimensional Control surveys in accordance with procedures

Planning and efficiently organising work in order to meet agreed deadlines

Carry out work under guidance from Lead Surveyor

Carry out the Survey in accordance with Scopus Engineering Ltd Business Management System procedures

Data processing and production of deliverables

Preparing & Checking of drawings,3D models and reports

Coach, lead and mentor Dimensional Control survey personnel as required

Promote a proactive safety culture by active participation in HSSE systems such as stop-cards

Qualifications / Training:

Essential:

  • Proficient use of 3D CAD packages
  • Proficient use of total stations and laser scanners

Desirable:

  • BSc in Surveying or other relevant subject
  • Full driving license

Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience as a Dimensional Control Surveyor
  • Experience in Laser Scanning
  • Understanding and skilled application of all aspects of surveying

Desirable:

  • Working in Oil & Gas industry, both onshore and offshore
