Energy Resourcing are currently working with one of the worlds leading engineering companies specifically working on the construction, engineering and development of a state of the art facility.
This project would be based in Northern Europe in a unique location and provides an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the new energy transformation in Europe.
Our client requires a Site Quality Assurance Engineer. This position is site based and the successful candidate is required to be based on site Monday to Saturday working 3 x 53-hour weeks, followed by one week off.
The site Quality Assurance Engineer supports the implementation of the project Quality Management plan, Client Standards and ensure contractor compliance with relevant Swedish Construction Standards, Acts and regulations.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and supervise the Project Quality Plan throughout the construction phase of the project
Project Assessments
- 1st party Audits, Milestone Assessments, Technical Peer Reviews
- 2nd party audits, contractor assessments, Project reviews
Contractor interface
- Contractor Surveillance and Performance Reporting
- Verification of contractor's Quality Management System are implemented
- Verification of change management, including deviations
- Approval of subcontractors and review of contractors' data and certification, inspection, and release of purchased components
- Facilitate contractor quality alignment meetings
Supply chain
Support SQS in
- Ensuring material control, including expediting, receiving inspection, identification, and storage processes
- fabrication control, including manufacturing processes, non-destructive testing
- document control and records management
- management and reporting of non-conformances and corrective actions
Client management system
Support site management in
- NCR process management
- Root Cause and Corrective Actions management
- Management and reporting of non-conformances and corrective actions
Essential
Minimum 10 years' experience in the construction industry
Minimum 2 years' QC experience in major project in English and other languages
Previous experience in similar role on major projects
Excellent communications skills
Advanced written and spoken English
Desirable
Multilingual (English, Swedish, Finnish)
Experience working in Nordic countries
