Energy Resourcing are looking for a Shutdown Coordinator on behalf of our client, for an ongoing contract until the end of 2023 with potential for extension.

You will have demonstratable shutdown experience and be willing to go offshore as required for adhoc visits however the role will be primarily office based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile, manage and control the shutdown activity register.
  • Custodian of the overall Shutdown Plan with agreed Shutdown strategy, milestones & success criteria set by the client.
  • Manage Shutdown preparations & development in accordance with success criteria.
  • Conduct 1 to 1 meetings with all onshore department heads / focal points.
  • Take ownership of Shutdown preparation offshore activities as required, including visits.
  • Assist Shutdown Materials Controller to set-up Shutdown materials management systems offshore.
  • Identify Shutdown storage requirements.
  • Have major input to critical path implementation logic.
  • Provide input to onshore Shutdown meetings, HAZID's & activity review sessions.
  • Provide Co-ordination shift briefings offshore during implementation.
  • Provide daily progress updates during Shutdown implementation phase.
  • Compile & circulate daily Shutdown progress information (daily report)
  • Ensure that the onshore resource requirements are identified to fully develop the Shutdown & support the offshore team during implementation.
  • Provide Shutdown implementation progress reports to the Operations Manager.
  • Undertake offshore visits as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Recent UKCS shutdown coordinator experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good team working skills

  • CA-EBS w/ Shoulder Width Measurement
