Energy Resourcing are currently working with one of the worlds leading new energy companies specifically working on the construction, engineering and development of a state of the art facility.
This project would be based in Northern Europe in a unique location and provides an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the new energy transformation in Europe.
Work with the Site Quality Manager/Coordinator, Project team and subcontractors to ensure site process controls and prerequisite verification and inspection arrangements are established for construction activities consistent with criticality, statutory and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
- Review of contract terms and specifications to ensure clear understanding of technical requirements and prerequisite verification and certification requirements.
- Undertake and/or coordinate technical review of subcontractor data submissions typically including;
quality plans, process and personnel qualifications and construction records and certification.
- Chair or attend and record pre-inspection meetings when specified by the Site Quality Manager and
- follow-up implementation and closeout of agreed actions.
- Site inspection personnel (and where applicable their employers) and vendors activities meet OneWay expectations and are undertaken in conformance with applicable Worley, regulatory and contractual HSE obligations
- Witness subcontractor process and personnel qualification tests in accordance with specification
- Witness/review of subcontractor (first party) inspection and test activities and records in accordance with specification/code requirements in accordance with approved inspection and test plans.
- Competently undertake and document Worley (second party) inspection and test activities as specified in approved inspection and test plans.
- Facilitate client or independent (Third Party) verification activities as specified in agreed inspection and test plans.
- Monitor subcontractor technical query and design change control processes.
- Monitor subcontractor non-conformance and corrective action processes, and where necessary, raise non-conformance notes and facilitate disposition of non-conforming works.
- Facilitate review of final construction data reports and acceptance of mechanical completion.
- Analyse and report on subcontractor performance for input into re-qualification and management review
- Determine areas of potential improvement in supplier quality management processes.
- In conjunction with the Supplier Inspection coordinator ensure that customer quality management requirements and concerns regarding supplier performance are being identified and managed effectively
- Deliver quality services and demonstrate a commitment to understand and meet customer needs.
- Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to achieving the OneWay Vision and its associated
- Travel as required, including travel related to projects and to maintain links with other Worley offices.
- Act in the best interests of Worley at all times.
- Perform any other duties that are reasonably required from time to time.
Essential:
- A recognized degree and/or technical competencies for the assigned scope.
- Relevant discipline or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry including thorough understanding of the principles and practice of supplier inspection management
- Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet Worley and its clients needs.
