Facility and laboratory operate 5:30AM to 6:30-7:30PM. Initially, LabTech hours are (7:00AM-3:00PM) for training only – once the LabTech is fully trained and demonstrates independence, they will move to a later shift: 9:30AM- close(5:30 - 6:30PM) or early shift, (5:30 am – 1:30 pm). MAIN FUNCTIONS:
The Facilities Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer will report to the Base Engineering Supervisor. The Facilities I&E Engineer will support the development and consistent implementation of engineering and construction standards in the design/execution of “Base” process facility projects (e.g., Facility Debottlenecking, Artificial Lift Conversions, GHG Reduction Technology, Operation/Maintenance Upgrades).
The Facilities I&E Engineer will collaborate with representatives of other departments and disciplines to help execute projects from initial concept through commissioning/start-up. The Facilities I&E Engineer will provide the needed support to all existing assets and function as an operations’ engineering representative on new development projects; this support will range from small to mid-size projects, corrective maintenance recommendations, and the development of preventative maintenance plans.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers, Production Operations, Maintenance, Environmental, Regulatory, HSE, Planning & Scheduling, Surface Projects, Right of Way, Supply Chain, Drafting, and Third-party Engineering to successfully develop and execute facility infrastructure plans in a changing environment.
  • Providing Instrumentation and Electrical troubleshooting and optimization support to operations/maintenance.

The Machinery Technician will be working for the Engineering Manager and closely with the Commissioning team, Operations, and Technical Management. This person will be responsible for coordinating, organizing, and executing of mechanical activities for the pre commissioning, commissioning, and startup for new and refurbished facilities, with the aim of ensuring the systems are installed and properly commissioned ensuring plant reliability and availability is maintained per design, in line with business needs for facilities which range across multiple technologies such as Air Separation (ASU), Steam Methane reformer (HYCO), Partial Oxidation (POX), Ammonia, H2 Electrolysis, and CO2, along with ancillary equipment to support the facility.  Cryogenic machinery experience is a key skill.

Nature & Scope

The Machinery Technician, is responsible for maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the mechanical systems in the facility throughout the end of construction and commissioning phase of the project for equipment which can include rotating equipment such as reciprocal compressors, cryogenic pumps, expanders, etc., and static equipment, as cascaded by Engineering Manager.  

Technical:

  • Execute hands on machinery technician related activities for commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, repair, and test activities.
  • Provide machinery technician support during the commissioning of the plants. Maintain accurate document control and monitor quality assurance initiatives to maintain the history going forward.
  • Provide machinery technician leadership to ensure safety, reliability, and maintainability of the mechanical equipment.

Commissioning

  • Ensure the safety of all commissioning personnel by utilizing the Company's Basic Safety Practice program, which includes Safety Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space, etc.
  • Understand Environmental Regulatory requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A 2-year diploma in machinery engineering or machinery/ mechanical technician.

  • Demonstrated technical and practical engineering skills with a good business sense in the maintenance field

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead assigned capital projects (standalone plant projects and projects within plant outages) and manage all engineering, design, and construction resources.
  • Develop estimates, funding documents, schedule, and ongoing forecasts for plant executed projects within SAP.  Maintain projects on budget and schedule
  • Ensure inherent process safety is adhered to on all project designs.  Facilitate management of change, process hazard reviews, and ORI’s.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Safety: Complete all necessary safety trainings (IF+, HSE Golden Rules, etc.) in a timely manner. Understand Company HSE Policy and HSE KPIs and demonstrate a responsible and constructive HSE behavior during whole project life. Abide by local, international, and Company safety standards and engage (stop work) in unsafe activities and create positive/negative observation cards. Attend TBM (Toolbox Meeting) regularly for daily structural activities and normally stay worksites to supervise all works are carried out in a safe manner.   
  • Quality: Have a clear understanding on Company Standards and Project Specifications. Coordinate with CTR construction team to achieve Quality KPIs
  • Drawings/Procedures: Review electrical drawings (AFC, Shop drawings, as built, etc) and Electrical execution procedures. Make sure all shop drawings and procedures properly ready for fabrication and installation of Electrical Support, Equipment. Lead CTR to prepare as-built drawings and submit them to CPY in a timely manner.
  • Materials and storage: Monitor delivery of EIT materials to WORKSITE and participate in Inspection on Receipt as per requests. Make sure CTR to store EIT equipment in compliance with CPY specification/Standards and Vendor’s recommendations.
  • Fabrication: Monitor CTR to furnish qualified personnel and all equipment, tools, instruments in a timely manner. Closely monitor and supervisor all EIT activities carried out in accordance with approval procedures, drawings, specifications, etc. Gather daily CTR EIT manpower and report it to EIT Superintendent.
  • Pre-Commissioning: Have a clear understanding of Pre-commissioning Specification and lead EIT pre-commissioning activities and punch list to be closed out based on the baseline schedule
  • Good Communication: Set up proper communication channel with CTR counterpart and implement daily tool box talks with CTR to discuss about prioritizing activities for short term and long term basis.

Minimum Experience:
  • At least 15 years’ experience in offshore piping fabrication the offshore oil & gas project, with minimum 3 years’ experience in fixed platforms – topside and/or jacket.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Safety Advisor to support an EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) project in Saudi Arabia. The Safety Advisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and implementing effective risk management strategies. The role requires extensive experience in offshore and onshore construction projects, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure HSE compliance across all phases of the EPCI project, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Enforce adherence to local and international HSE standards and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnel.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
  • Ensure proper implementation of permit-to-work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and hazard identification procedures.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in HSE roles within the offshore/onshore oil & gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of EPCI project safety requirements, risk management, and hazard control.

Role Overview

Our client, a leading global EPCM, is looking for mid to senior-level Environmental Advisors to join one of their largest site teams to date on a 2:1 FIFO roster ext. Perth. As a Site Environmental Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting major development projects, offering guidance on environmental approvals, and developing and maintaining compliance programs throughout the project’s execution.

As a key member of the team, you will:

  • Implementing the project CEMP and EMS
  • Training site teams and contractors (inductions, land disturbance, and biodiversity identification)
  • Relocating fauna after completing fauna handling training
  • Conducting pre-clearing fauna surveys after completing fauna surveyor training
  • Assisting with the execution of the Land Disturbance Procedure
  • Compliance reporting, including NGERS, waste, monitoring, and Part IV licence reports
  • Monitoring dust, noise, vibration, and vegetation
