Energy Resourcing are working with their internal partner to recruit a Senior Process Safety and Risk Engineer. The project will be focused in Perth, Australia but the role will be remote working with the occasional travel to our Aberdeen/Glasgow/Manchester/Brentford office.
Responsibilities
- Primarily manage resources to deliver exceptional safety & risk engineering solutions for our clients across incredibly diverse range of projects including Hydrogen, Oil and Gas and mining and metals
- Contribute to broader programs and initiatives that support the building of Advisian's market share and reputation
- Leading a team of experienced risk and safety engineers
- Facilitating workshops including HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA
- Focus on the delivery of formal safety studies including Consequence Assessments, Fire Safety Studies, Escape and Muster Studies, Equipment Survivability Studies, risk assessments both qualitative and quantitative
- Your safety and risk knowledge will deliver our clients best practice outcomes andensure that risks have been demonstrably reduced to SFAIRP
Skills/Qualifications
- 10+ years relevant Safety & Risk experience
- A recognised degree in either Process or Mechanical engineering orequivalent
- Formal HAZOP and Functional Safety qualifications
- Demonstrable knowledge of the fundamentals of safety & risk engineering
- Working knowledge of DNV PHAST software
- Knowledge of applicable local/international standards, statutory andregulatory specifications
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, Mining and chemical industries
