On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner/Scheduler, located in our office in The Hague.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up- and maintaining complex EPC schedules for medium/large size projects in the Petro-chemical industry
- Prepare complex engineering and construction schedules for project proposals and projects in process;
- maintaining complex schedules on a current basis;
- preparing reports to management regarding project scheduling activities and ensuring the maintenance of all other essential records and reports;
- maintaining liaison with project management regarding scheduling activities.
- Prepare project cost reports assuming responsibility for their overall accuracy, completeness and timeliness;
- coordinating the cost analysis activities on one or more projects; liasing with project management on matters relating to cost control;
- making periodic site visits to review cost reporting;
- preparing comprehensive evaluation of cost escalation and contingencies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as senior/lead project planner in refinery, oil and gas, energy sector.
- Broad knowledge of principles and practices within planning and scheduling, understanding business strategies and culture.
- Excellent communication skills.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
