We are looking for a Senior HSE Advisor to join a project team in the Lincoln area on a PAYE basis for a duration of 12 months. This role will be based on site four days per week. Allowances will be offered with the hourly rate.
Role Overview
Participate and provide HSE assistance in the execution of targeted HSE Improvement Plans and associated support documents. Ensure continued H&S alignment with approved Project Execution Plans throughout the lifecycle of associated project
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain solid relationships and engage with project representatives, Customer, Company and Partners throughout.

Actively participate in associated start up works, contractor kickoff meetings during project mobilization and throughout the whole lifecycle of associated project. Ensure thorough contractor HSE assessments undertake and conduct pre-qualifications evaluations as required.

Actively participate in H&S Risk Assessments and ensure all project activities are covered by robust and comprehensive Safe System of Work where applicable.

Actively participate in field safety verifications, ensuring that Safe Systems of Works are complied with by those undertaking the associated works, ensuring that permit conditions are implemented, and that associated Life Saving Rules are followed.

Actively participate in accident investigation when required, manage events through robust case management ensuring that lessons learned are captured, communicated, and implemented where practicable.

Support the project management team in the execution and delivery of associated documents in accordance with project schedules and associated deliverable packages where applicable.

Monitor HSE conditions and take appropriate action to remediate known deficiencies that have the potential to effect Safety, Health and Welfare.

Ensure compliance to highest standards, procedures, and associated policies.

Supporting the Construction Manager or Project Manager in the safe delivery of associated project related work aligned to Safety, Health and Welfare.

Acting as a focal point for Safety, Health and Welfare related issues.

Actively supporting the project by being the HSE focal point at associated business and Customer meetings

Delivery of associated HSE reports, weekly and monthly where applicable.

Daily monitoring of the Assurance System and managing events to close out within a timely manner.

Actively coaching and mentoring others in "LIFE" i.e., HSELA, LSR's Take5 etc.
Qualifications Required

Recognised NV Level 5 /6 Diploma

or NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in HSE
