A global EPCM is looking for an experienced estimator with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to join their team in Perth.

To be successful in this role you must be conversant in mining related first principle estimating.

Knowledge of other industries a huge plus. Typically you would have come up from a trade background into estimating. Proven experience in detailed Class 3 and 2 estimates.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and supervise the development and presentation of cost estimates for national and international projects
  2. Provide support in identifying, analysing and providing innovative solutions to cost estimating problems.
  3. Provide support in the development of estimating standards, procedures and systems for the estimating of tenders and proposals
  4. Provide cost estimating guidance to projects
  5. Support the development of future benchmarking and estimating tools.

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Significant experience in a Senior Estimating role on a large project
  • Mining experience preferred
  • Thorough technical and practical estimating skills
  • Thorough technical, practical and leadership experience, including experience in project engineering and management with specialised estimating expertise.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and discipline specific software
  • Thorough understanding of Planning and Scheduling across multi disciplinary and large scale projects.
