Responsibilities

Skills / Qualifications
- B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University; higher degree would be advantageous.
- Membership in a recognized professional engineering/project management association/institution will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in engineering, project management and execution of infrastructure & civil projects.
- Experience of project execution in oil & gas environment will be preferred.
- Experience in project life cycle management.

We are currently recruiting for an E&I Supervisor to join our team working on a construction project of a large steel manufacturing site. As an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. This role is located in Boden and would be on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. We can cater for both locally employed or self-employed options.
Responsibilities
Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
- Ensure the Construction Contractor adheres to the project health, environmental protection, safety, and well-being plan.
- Attend daily coordination meetings and maintain detailed records of the quality of work performed.
- Keep track of man-hours spent by Vendor Specialists.
- Understand and implement agreed physical progress measurement systems for field activities.

The Role
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will oversee and manage the mechanical engineering aspects of the project. The Project Engineer will be primarily responsible for engineering, overseeing, and executing multiple capital & expense projects to meet scope, cost, and schedule requirements at the site.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Education: BSc in Naval Architecture or Maritime education degree
- Professional experience: 10 years in similar domain, experience in naval and offshore construction activities (construction, maintenance), project management, project planning.
- Languages: English mandatory, Portuguese is a plus.
- Good communication skills, organizational skills, autonomous, positive attitude, motivated and team spirit mandatory.
- Knowledge of Evision/ePERMIT Dalia site application is an advantage
- Knowledge of planning tools (e.g. Primavera) and SAP-Unisup is an advantage

Role Overview
- 1. To promote safety culture within the project and his/her activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering and contributing. To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSEQ rules and requirements.
2. To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that he/she is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his activities.
3. To ensure that state of the art, TEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements.
4. To work by anticipation. To assess and to identify risks for the PBF activities and manage associated mitigation actions at his/her level.
5. Establish and manage his/her activities motivating his/her counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the projects.
6. To promote digitalization and innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. To seek optimization and savings all along the different phases of the project. To focus on costs (3C initiatives) without impairing QHSE objectives.
7. To keep divisional Manager and all parties (as required) informed regarding ongoing activities status. To advise the Project Managers on HSEQ related actions/decisions.
8. To reinforce the production team
9. To participate in the development of operating procedures or in the update of existing operating procedures related to the FPSOs.
10. To perform the production operator activities within the FPSOs Field Operations team (work permit assistance, equipment operating, valve operating, venting, draining, sampling, check of equipment parameters, etc.).
