The Role

We seek an experienced Senior Administrator for a full time opportunity within our client's Energy & Chemicals Sustaining Capital Team based in their state of the art CBD office on a 12 month contract.

  • Provide the relevant group or team with administrative and clerical support when required
  • Program and file documentation and set up and maintain group filing
  • Assist with a range of administrative activities including preparing of expense reports and processing of purchase orders/invoices
  • Arrange meetings, including organising equipment requirements, ordering of food and beverages and clearing up meeting rooms at completion of meetings.
  • Arrange and make travel, medicals, PPE and accommodation arrangements
  • Assist with the creation and preparation of correspondence for internal and external clients, documents, presentations and/or publications
  • Occasional reception cover as required

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work tasks and be enjoy working in a collaborative work environment. We are looking for people who are able to identify issues, problems and opportunities, make timely decisions, develop appropriate and innovative solutions and ask for assistance if required.

  • Exceptional computer literacy including experience in MS Office suite products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance
  • Ability to work on multiple projects of various sizes and complexity
  • Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams
  • Experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, including administrative experience
