Purchasing Officer

Join this global EPCM to work on one of their largest Energy portfolios!

As a Purchasing Officer you'll need to have some exposure to engineered Equipment and/or Materials for Projects within the Engineering and Procurement Services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete take offs of all materials required to complete the works
• Create RFQ's and manage the engagement process for subcontractors to complete the works
• Review, monitor and report on purchase orders to ensure compliance
• Timely processing of purchase requisitions
• Qualifying and processing new vendor applications
• Source best pricing and availability
• Ensure material supply compliance

Skills & Experience:

• Working experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing or supply chain
• 3+ years in a similar role
• Ideally you will have exposure to fast-paced project based industries such as mining, construction etc
• Sound knowledge in raising purchase orders using SAP (SAP experience is essential)
• Team participation, coordination and high level written communication skills
