The Senior Program Planner will be responsible for project planning, scheduling and monitoring, along with project controls for customer projects (for new product development and industrialisation project environment) at Northvolt Battery systems. As a Senior Program planner- you will be responsible for setting up project schedules within the program using a generic Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). You will also be responsible for Monitoring and controlling the project schedule using effective periodic updates on progress of works from the stakeholders (mainly the program core team members).Key responsibilityDevelop, optimize and maintain overall time plan for the Program and detailed time schedule for each work streamPlan and organize the project scope by work package to create the baseline critical path schedule and continuously track the progress with the project team and work package leads, using MS Project, Primavera or other similar toolsManage progress measurement (Northvolt and external partners) and produce weekly reports to monitor progressRun and manage scheduling coordination, both internally as well as externallyGuide the project team towards the project milestones in the scheduleMonitoring risks and opportunities to optimize the time plan and de-risk delaysClose monitoring and tracking of customer related changes for input to contract management and claims departmentProduce schedule related KPI's to track progress - Earned value analysis (e.g. milestone performance and deliverable related progress)
In general you have atleast 5 years of work experience in the field of Project Planning and Scheduling for large, complex, innovative and challenging infrastructure, industrial projects.
A university degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
Or a tertiary qualification and planning & scheduling experience.
Additional qualification in planning & scheduling is an advantageHas planning and scheduling experience from large/complex projects of similar scale, along with working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams, international projects etc)Has worked on several projects and/ or bids, ideally in similar business areaSpecific skillsProject Scheduling using critical path methodologyExperience of integrated Project Controls using Work Breakdown StructuresPrimavera P6, MS Project or other planning toolExcellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plusStakeholder Management and strong communication skillsAbility to challenge inputs and an eye for detailA structured approach to working & problem solvingGood analytical skills and the ability to apply logical thinkingFinancial awarenessAbility to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time managementPassionate & purpose driven
