Our client are Project Managing a major re-gasification facility in Germany that comprises of an FSRU topsides processing facilities, marine and port infrastructures.

This phase of the project will start imminently and will last for approximately 15 months before moving into subsequent phases. We seek to recruit a German speaking Project Interface Coordinator / Manager to be based onsite during the construction activities of the project.

The Interface Coordinator / Manager will be based onsite during the construction phase and will be responsible to be the interface between various clients involved in bringing the project together, stakeholders, port authorities, permitting regulators, German regulators/authorities, construction contractors.

You will be responsible for managing the interface with Clients to successfully deliver in accordance with the Client and Project requirements. Work as primary point of contract for Client and oversee the processes between Client requirements and Company delivery to ensure the Client expectations are met. Oversee Project internal interfaces, including engineering, supply chain, construction, commissioning, and ensure compatibility to external interfaces.

· Develop, implement and maintain the designated interface management method, systems and procedures for use by all project functions, contracting parties and stakeholders

· Develop performance indicators for interfaces to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project/Client requirements

· Coordinate, manage, engage, report to key internal and external stakeholders

· Establish close working relationship with all levels of Client representatives

· Primary point of contact for Client on all interface matters. It may require interfaces with different contracting parties internally and externally

· Ensure critical interfaces are identified and acknowledged

· Negotiate and manage complicated interface issues among different project phases

· Work closely with project team, so Company internal interfaces are to be managed and ultimately Client interface/requirement are met

· Provide support to internal and external stakeholders during project execution to meet project objectives

The Interface Coordinator / Manager will be:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) preferred
  • Able to converse in German language (essential)
  • Minimum 15 years experience in complex project execution of energy infrastructure projects (FPSO/ FSRU, LNG facilities, petrochemical processing plants
  • A background in interface management incorporating mechanical, piping and structural engineering.
  • Any prior experience in marine infrastructure would be advantageous
  • Strong Coordination skills
  • Strong and broad technical knowledge across most aspects of oil and gas development
