A Project Controls Manager is required to work on an Oil & Gas project in Perth for an EPCM Client. You will be managing a team of qualified Project Controls professionals, along with managing stakeholder expectations to deliver a successful project.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the focal point with the client and any contractor Project Controllers as appropriate
- Ensure costs and progress are reported accurately, ensure alignment with the project reporting requirements and ensure timely and accurate cost and progress reporting
- Monitor overall project / assignment progress status
- Identify, monitor and report against the project critical path
- Report project status and KPI to management
- Manage and oversee the project work approval process
- Ensure Project Controls processes and procedures are accurate
About you:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Strong experience as a Project Controls Manager especially in a either Oil & Gas, New Energy, Renewables environment
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant industry experience in project control positions, including significant experience supervising and managing others.
- Significant experience and capability in management of contracts, budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling and management of change
- Knowledgeable across engineering, procurement and constructions execution
- Understands the use and applications of Project Controls department tools and systems
