We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Product Manager-Energy Boss product line. The Energy Boss is a hybrid power system solution for onsite generation designed to reduce fuel usage, pollution, and carbon emissions, driving efficiency, operational cost reductions and helping clients meet ESG objectives.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the development and success of our products from ideation to launch and through the lifecycle. You will need to possess business development and market research skills to help identify the needs of the marketplace. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive the product roadmap. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, data-driven, and possesses excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Live our client's Lift Up culture with constant focus on continuous improvement of our people, processes, and products to meet customer and business objectives.
- Conduct market research, user interviews and data analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, and business opportunities.
- Collaboratively define and communicate the product vision, requirements, strategy, roadmap, and goals to stakeholders and teams.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog and feature requests based on business objectives, user feedback, and metrics.
- Write clear and detailed product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, timelines, and projected financial impacts of different outcomes.
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of the product development process.
- Coordinate with engineering to validate product assumptions and hypotheses using various methods such as A/B testing, usability testing, beta testing, etc.
- Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and key vendors.
- Monitor and measure the impact of the product using quantitative and qualitative data. Communicate findings and associated value propositions to key stakeholders including sales, marketing, and potential customers.
- Gather and analyze user feedback and data to identify improvement areas and new feature ideas.
- Continuously research and evaluate the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform product decisions and strategy.
- Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the product in the market and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including executives, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product management or related roles in a fast paced electrical, energy, or technology company.
- Proven track record of launching successful products from ideation to launch and beyond preferred.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, tools, and best practices for product development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
