Process Engineer
Position: Permanent
Location: Mobile, Alabama
We are recruiting for a client in the EPC industry looking for a Chemical Process Engineer to join their major capital project team! This individual will be required to work onsite and manage various projects at one time.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in the field. They must also be able to provide process and equipment design, as well as troubleshoot process control issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform field investigations to gather information and data.
- Perform unit operations process simulations as required.
- Develop, verify, and update PFD's, Material and Energy Balances, and P&ID's.
- Perform, evaluate, and validate PSV's calculations and documentation.
- Participate as a leader or team member in Process Hazard Analyses.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited Engineering College or University is required.
- An active Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
- At least seven years of relevant experience in industry and/or engineering consulting is required.
- Experience participating on major capital project teams in a Process Engineering role is preferred.
- Experience serving in a leadership role related to project definition, development, and execution is preferred.
