Our client in the Oil and Gas Industry is seeking to hire a Security Superintendent to be based at its Head Officer in Port Moresby, NCD. The incumbent will be based in Port Moresby and provides support to the Client’s Security Manager. Occasional requirement for weekend commitments, as required. Provides full security coverage for staff and contractors based in Port Moresby, for both clients, and Marketing and Services. Responsibilities will cover office security, operational activities in and outside Port Moresby and outlying operations site as required, service stations and expatriate residential locations. Liaison and deployment of Government security forces as required. Management of associated security systems and procedures. Responsible for all security aspects of the client’s Fleet and provides support and coverage for the client’s Fleet Coordinator in their absence.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
  • Assists and supports the Security Advisor for all Client in Port Moresby and outlying operations. Responsible for office security including clear desk policy, access control, management of the lockdown drill and associated procedures.
  • Ongoing management of the Personnel on Board (POB) system.
  • Manage the electronic access control system to Deloitte Haus.
  • Establish information networks essential to Security Operations, liaising with key stakeholders, Police command, Intelligence networks and industry-based colleagues to provide current and relevant information for Senior Management.
  • Maintain timely communications with Senior Management of incidents or developments that may result in personal injuries, interference with operations or that may cause property loss.
  • Provide recommendations to the Security Advisor to protect company's personnel and its assets, to minimize exposure to security or other related risks.
  • Assist and support all VIP visits.
  • Responsible for all residential security for all client’s staff including, risk assessments and management of the warden system.
  • Management of all CIT movements.
  • Identify security technical solutions and relevant processes to reduce ongoing operational costs and improve security and operational efficiencies in both clients.
  • Direct security related activities during emergency situations by staying apprised of emergency response systems, monitoring emergency activities and supervising personnel.
  • Apply the application of the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) programs to ensure client’s personnel, Contractors, Government security forces and visitors are aligned and comply.
  • Provides guidance and support to other department’s personnel, contractor personnel and visitors, being a conduit for
  • Security Management to ensure open and timely communications.
  • Deliver security briefings, inductions and training as required.
  • Prepares weekly reports and any other ad-hoc reports when requested by the management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Tertiary qualification in security and risk management
  • Site and Port Moresby security experience in the extractive industries (Oil & Gas, mining)
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in security, law enforcement or military operations
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in security operations with multi facet teams in resource or industrial sectors
  • Microsoft Office skills, including the Word, Excel, Power-point.
  • Possess strong influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with management, team members, peers, Government Security Forces, and other external agencies.
  • Demonstrate strong conceptual skills, and capable of developing lateral and practical solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
  • Conduct studies and collect data to detect sources of loss and risks.
  • Organize and interpret field data and identify necessary corrections.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate investigative and narrative reports.
  • Maintain records, and prepare reports and correspondence related to the security risks, crimes, and incidents.
  • Competent security professional that maintains the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality, high personal standards of dress and hygiene, fluent English speaking and will take command and control of a situation with elevated risk or an emergency incident.
  • Ability to do ad-hoc travel between Port Moresby and outlying operations and work extended hours in remote and potentially hostile environments during times of elevated risk.

Key Responsibilities

Job function:
The Operations Geologist is responsible for the planning and execution of Company’s drill-wells world-wide. To accomplish this the Operations Geologist must be competent in Well Planning and Surveillance, Integrated Pressure Prediction and Site Investigation; understanding key deliverables such as a Top-hole Prognosis, Pore-Pressure Prediction, and completed well-design. Key to the successful drilling of a well is close communication with the Business Unit (Geoscience, Reservoir Engineers), Petrophysicist, and Wells Engineers throughout the design and execution phases of the project, hence the Operations Geologist must be a good communicator, Integrator and be highly organized effectively changing tact as conditions dictate.  Proactive, flexible, and creative (“out of the box”) thinking while driving updated Well Planning Process for deepwater wells/activities.    Evaluating multiple scenarios and ensuring close communication between all parties involved whilst managing expectations to ensure a safe, timely and economic completion of the drilling program meeting all geologic and operational objectives.
 
Responsibilities and duties:
  • Demonstrate Safety leadership and uphold Company’s Safety culture ensuring No Spills and the Nobody Gets Hurt, both in the office and if required, on the rig site.
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Pore Pressure Prediction and Surveillance
  • Strong understanding of Site Investigation including Shallow Drilling Hazards Evaluation (top-hole prognosis) and riserless drilling geohazards
  • Well Planning and Surveillance (may include but not limited to):
    • Coordinate with the Wells organization and the project Petrophysicist in the contract technical evaluation for MWD/LWD, Wireline, and Mud Logging services (Procurement & Tendering)
    • Evaluate technical services and compile cost estimates for Wellsite Geology, Wellsite Biostratigraphy, Core Handling/Preservation and Analysis, and Wellsite Data management services as needed
    • Compile and document Well Objectives, Formation Evaluation plan, operations & communication protocols, and data/sample distribution into a Geological Program
    • Compile well and evaluation plan information in support of Company Regulatory groups (Regulatory)
    • Participate/lead regular coordination and planning meetings with the Wells and Geoscience Teams
    • Facilitate and communicate with Wells Engineers and project geologists to produce a well plan and casing design which will enable complete evaluation of geologic objectives whilst maintaining an economic and cost-effective solution
    • Design and establishment of casing seat and TD selection protocols, coring and formation evaluation programs. 
    • Supervision, logistical and technical support of Wellsite Geologic personnel (Wellsite Geologists, Service Company personnel) to gather complete, high quality geologic data sets as specified.
    • QC and local loading, storage, and archival of all relevant electronic and physical data using systematic file naming and organization. 
    • Capture lessons learned for future operational improvements
  • Assist, if necessary, in wellsite-based activities, including selection of casing seats, Geosteering (using Azimuthal Ultra Deep Resistivity), wireline logging and formation testing programs.
  • Review and analysis of geologic evaluation programs and service company performance on a well by well or monthly/quarterly basis to identify and address areas with room for improvement.
  • Compile and distribute final well reports, logs, and supporting documents to all parties in a timely fashion.
  • Presenting technical work to Subsurface and Wells teams including but not limited to TD protocol reviews, prespud meetings and after action reviews (AAR).
 
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 
  • BS/MS in Geology from a recognized institution
  • Experience as an Operations Geologist
  • Onshore and offshore (barge, jackup, MODU) drilling experience
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, have good organizational and coordination skills, and be able to work well with others.
  • Flexible to work outside 8am-5pm to provide 24 hours Ops Geo coverage during drilling and logging operations.
  • Flexible to work on Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday to provide 24 hours Ops Geo coverage during drilling and logging operations.
  • Offshore experience including platform/deviated well drilling with associated technologies (e.g., LWD, WL).
  • Must be in good physical condition and shall comply with all project health and safety requirements (including any rig or country-specific certifications required to work offshore).
  • May be required: Have successfully passed a recognized (OPITO) course in Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET), Sea Survival, and H2S within the previous two years. Certifications must be current and not due to expire for the anticipated duration of the project.
  • Experience with mud logging; cuttings description; real-time image logs; and correlating them to determine lithology and well path.
  • Experience with basic FE interpretation for identifying rock type, fluid type, borehole conditions, etc.
  • Experience utilizing azimuthal ultra-deep resistivity (AUDR) for geosteering deepwater highly directional/deviated wells
  • Experience with managed pressure drilling (MPD) practices
  • Experience with production drilling environments and challenges, i.e. depleted sand, wellbore stability, fluid type uncertainty and etc.
  • Experience with directional drilling, well planning, depth control measurements; and understanding of BHA's (Bottom Hole Assembly).
  • Experience with coring operations.
  • Experience of working in integrated asset team environment.
  • Experience in applying structural geology concepts and methods to assess compartmentalization/communication.
  • Experience of having worked with geologic modelers to incorporate maps and their interpretations into 3D geologic models.

Accountabilities:
• Accessing remote locations to check wells, maintain normal operating levels, pressures, and flow on separation equipment, adjusting automatic and manual controls.

• Gauging tanks for sale or transfer of crude oil and water.

Responsibilities

PREAMBLE
The purpose of this specification is to define the conditions for the performance of the services relating to the digital realization of P&IDs under Smart Plant P&ID (SPPID) to be carried out by the SERVICE PROVIDER


Purpose of the service
The SERVICE PROVIDER will carry out the following tasks:
  • Reporting to the head of the P&ID's Design & Management department, you will be responsible for carrying out CAD activities under Smart Plant P&ID plans such as Fluid Flow Plans (P&IDs) and Fluid Process Diagrams (PFDs) and Material Safety Diagrams (MSDs).
  • Your CAD drafter activity ultimately covers all the services necessary for optimal use of the data of the project to be processed.
You are the guarantor of the quality of the documents digitized under Smart Plant P&ID. After a period of integration/training within the Department, you will be in charge of ensuring:
  • The CAD digitization of the Department's documents submitted in the form of a Master's degree commented by the technical disciplines, using the Smart Plant P&ID software, and secondarily the AUTOCAD software.
 
  • The design of process, inter-unit, utility distribution PCFs as well as PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), MSDs (Material Safety Diagrams).
 
  • The final CAD review of disciplined or customer comments on all these types of documents after verification of CAD activities,
 
  • Verification of all your CAD activities before handing over to the CAD coordinator of the Department before official release,
 
  • Use your knowledge of the Smart Plant P&ID tool in relation to the associated Piping Catalog (piping classes).
 

REQUIRED SKILLS
The studies at the expense of the SERVICE PROVIDER require the following skills:
  • With a baccalaureate +2/3 ideally in chemical engineering, you have a first experience in a company in the Oil & Gas, Energy or nearby sector.
 
  • You have a command of technical English and a good knowledge of the AUTOCAD and Smart Plant P&ID digitization tools.
 
  • You have the ability to manage and synthesize constraints influencing detailed studies such as norms, implementation standards, study rules, symbols, deadlines.

The Field Representative will be primarily tasked to perform field expediting activities in their assigned region at main suppliers (including sub-suppliers).     Manager, using Excel & (e-MF when available).
  • Prepare specific monthly reports at client or partner request.

  • Experience in Resource sector is essential.
  • Experience in working on complex 3D modelling environment using Aveva or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Be highly driven with a focus on delivery and service.
  • Worked in a project with a 3D modelling workflow. Extensive experience in performing detailed checking roles for major projects.

The SAP OTC/PC Lead reports into the ERP Application Manager and maintains responsibility for hands-on leadership in managing and supporting OTC (order-to-cash, and related modules within the company's global SAP system especially with Project Control (PS module).
