The main function of the Planning Coordinator is to integrate all planned activities from Projects, Maintenance and other Functional Areas to support a producing asset.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for compliance with the Integrated Activity Planning Standard and other planning processes and business rules
  • Responsible for monitoring and updating Integrated Activity Plans (IAP) including the 28 Day and 120 Day planning horizons
  • Responsible for facilitating Planning/Scheduling Meetings with projects and Maintenance
  • Responsible for effective interaction with all key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and thoroughly challenged input in the Integrated Plan from all functions
  • Responsible for proactive identification of opportunities and threats and contribute to developing realisation / mitigation measures through applying technical/engineering knowledge
  • Responsible for proactive identification of any significant changes to planned activities and their impact on production, operations and targets
  • Responsible for controlling POB database and highlight potential conflicts & resource/bedding constraints (offshore facilities)
  • Responsible for meeting all Offshore Execution reporting requirements (S-Curve, Daily Report etc.)

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in engineering (or equivalent suitable industry experience)
  • Knowledge/experienced user of Primavera P6 (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Wish to become a centre of planning intelligence and effectively influence operations
  • Experience in resource levelling in particular offshore
