Duties and Responsibilities
This level of Administrator/designer will be required to support SP3D set-up and assist SP3D designers with system/tool problems, track and coordinate documents within the piping design and stress groups, run data base reports and regular progress updates. Assures technical quality and accuracy of all assigned project deliverables for SP3D and compliance to all company procedures and guidelines, support isometric extraction thru Isogen, support the reference data base manager, down load material data to SPM, set-up and run SPR and design reviews. this level of designer will support multiple teams on an assigned area or phase of a project, Mentor subordinates.
Experience and Qualifications
This grade of Administrator/Designer is expected to have an AA degree or completion of a technical courses with a minimum of 3 years SP3D administration and 5-8 years piping department experience, familiar with Isogen, Reference data base management, SPR, SPM and design review set-up, experience in Refinery/Oil and Gas industry. Strong Organization skills with effective written and verbal skills in English.
Special Job Requirements
Proficient with Excel tools, Microstation and SP3D. Will be required to assist in training or development of lesser experienced designers in SP3D.
