Energy Resourcing are currently working on behalf of Worley for a People Business Partner to join one of there exciting new projects on a permanent contract basis, to be based from the project site at Wilton, near Stockton.
Responsibilities
- An Operational Manager ensuring the alignment of your area with broader organisational initiatives and objectives
- Identifying and defining issues, collaborating where needed and providing empathetic and solution based consultive advice based on best practice for client solutions
- Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity, managing changing priorities and be open to personal and business changes
- Leading and implementing organisational project changes from your knowledge of the function
- Making decisions for selection, training, discipline and renumeration of staff
- Assigning programme work and policy framework
- Effectively communicating and presenting complex proposals and reports to senior level management
Requirements
- University degree (or equivalent) in related field or equivalent, relevant work experience
- Supervisory, project management or technical experience
- Commercial acumen and understanding of the impact of the role on the business
- Ability to influence outcomes within broad policies
- Posses an understanding of business strategies, culture and work to achieve results and able to execute work beyond the scope of individual function
- Ability to troubleshoot and develop tactical plans for implementing organisational goals and oversee the design of new concepts and ideas related to projects and the function
- A participative management style with a cooperative team approach
- Advanced understanding of relevant systems, processes, and tools
