Marketing Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented content professional! Our client is looking for a Marketing Specialist who will be involved in marketing from ideation through to execution across disciplines (digital, event, internal comms, etc.) to showcase their brand to the world. Our client works in the manufacturing industry and has locations in Canada, Utah, and new location, Houston. This individual will be expected to travel 50% of the time for roadshows.
The Houston plant is set to open at the end of 2023 and this individual will work remotely until the plant is open. If you are an experienced Marketing Specialist with the necessary skills and qualifications, we welcome you to apply!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of trade events, facility showcases, roadshows, field marketing, online training
- initiatives, and select national and regional meetings
- Fully oversee critical path accountability for all event aspects including partner relations,
- sponsorship mechanics, display inventory, promotional design, team logistics, data capture, and onsite participation
- Contribute to communication roadmaps, key messaging, digital marketing tactics, and KPIs across
- channels, for both internal and external content
- Assist in maintaining website while contributing to our social media presence and intel
- gathering across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) providing support through to metrics and
- insight reporting
- Champion brand guidelines and review items as required to ensure brand standards are optimized
- Manage select creative partners, developing related briefs, guiding scope of work and stewarding
- approval process to meet requirements with on-time, on-budget delivery, and ongoing
- measurement
- Manage the inventory levels of common product samples and branded promotional material,
- researching, and procuring new material as required
- Work closely with Sales, Technical and Customer teams to support extended brand touchpoints
Experience and Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in business, marketing, or communications
- 2 years of professional marketing experience; client or agency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that is evolving as the business grows
- Comfort in strategically presenting plans, budgets, reports and more to leadership
- Maintain effective relationships, internally and externally, with multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite experience considered a bonus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines with diplomacy
