Energy Resourcing is currently recruiting on behalf of Worley for a Laser Scanning Technician to join the project team in the Aberdeen office, on a PAYE basis for 12 months.
Key Aims and Objectives:
Carry out laser scans in line with relevant procedures
Processing of all captured data and preparation of final deliverables
Prime Responsibilities and Duties:
Attend planning / mobilisation brief with the Survey Co-Ordinator / Client and ensure that the Scope of Work and contract deliverables is fully understood
Obtain pertinent permits on clients sites as required
Assist with Dimensional Control surveys in accordance with procedures
Planning and efficiently organising work in order to meet agreed deadlines
Carry out work under guidance from Senior/Lead Surveyor
Carry out the Survey in accordance with Scopus Engineering Ltd Business Management System procedures
Data processing and production of deliverables
Preparation and checking of laser scan databases and reports
Promote a proactive safety culture by active participation in HSSE systems such as stop-cards
Qualifications / Training:
Essential:
- Proficient use of laser scanners
Desirable:
- BOSIET, MIST and offshore medical
- Full driving license
Experience:
Essential:
- Understanding and skilled application of all aspects of laser scanning
- Proficient use of laser scanners
- Proficient use of total stations
Desirable:
Experience as Land/Engineering surveyor
