Project Experience – Refinery experience would be an asset

Summary:

Looking for an intermediate Process Engineer to work on a refinery project
5-10 years of oil and gas experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with clients and project team to scope out projects, establish project objectives and coordinate and/or resolve design issues
Executing process tasks within budget and schedule
Developing Process Design Basis (PDB)
Performing computer simulations using HYSYS, PRO II, Pipe Flo and SRC slurry system hydraulic software for pipe/pipeline and equipment sizing
Developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and work with Mechanical/Instrumentation to develop Processing and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Generating process data for instrument datasheets and develop PSV files
Interfacing with other disciplines, clients, and vendors
Facilitating and/or participating in process hazards analysis studies/sessions

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited Chemical/Process Engineering Degree program
Registered or eligible to be registered with APEGA or EGBC
PMP designation and asset

Software & Systems:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications. Working knowledge with HYSYS, AFT and Pipe-Flo software
