The Company and Benefits

Our client is a global energy company who is active at every stage of the value chain: from natural gas and oil to co-generated electricity and renewables, including both traditional and bio refining and chemicals. We require an experienced Interface Coordinator to commence immediately, working from our client's Perth based head office on a 12-month, full time contract role (for the duration of FEED with possibly to extend subject to FID).

The Role

The Interface Coordinator will support the Interface Manager and other company departments in managing internal and external interfaces in compliance with project requirements, company commitments, quality standards, company budgets, procedures and guidelines and in order to minimise technical and economic risks.

Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Assure the alignment and consistency of project strategies with Company objectives
  • Support the execution and coordination of project key events with Company management, partners, stakeholders and authorities/regulatory bodies
  • Identify new initiatives and develop project and company communications materials such as project briefs, project flyers, project presentation materials and other support media consistent with the communications strategy.
  • Monitor and support the regulatory approvals process and communications strategy execution against project and company targets.
  • Support the procurement department in the identification of potential contractors necessary to support the development of the project and company communications materials and in the development of the documents for tendering.
  • Elaborate scope of works for bids and technical and commercial evaluation for assigning contracts.

Skills & Experience

Personal attributes of the successful candidate will include detail oriented, strong problem solving and decision-making skills, be a great communicator who can grow and nurture relationships, self-motivated, proactive and someone who has a willingness to stretch their skill set.

  • Degree or Master in technical discipline
  • Significant experience in Oil and Gas industry project management and contracting management with excellent commercial skills
  • Demonstrated deep industry knowledge and experience specific to technical regulation management
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application, or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge of the relevant state and Australian legislation governing gas production and carbon sequestration
