Energy Resourcing are currently working with their internal partner to recruit an Information & Digital Delivery Project Manager on a remote basis

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility to define, plan and deliver projects to achieve business benefits according to agreed quality, timelines, scope and budget.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet requirements
  • Manage project teams to deliver projects according to agreed schedule, budget and timelines
  • Prepare, update and review all required documents and Project Tollgate presentation packs across the full lifecycle of tasks and projects, start with preparation of project initiation documents including scope definition, system level specifications, project timetables, and effort estimates
  • Apply and enforce the use of Project Management methodology processes, tools, and principles for delivery of tasks
  • Foster key relationships amongst the PMO team and other IDD and business stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management and change management to put plans in place for successful project implementation and BAU solution
  • Create/ update project plans
  • Track project progress, presenting and obtaining project tollgate approvals and completing project status reports
  • Create Actual Cost vs. Budget financial reports and analysis
  • Maintain Risk and Issues Logs. Escalate key issues as required so they are appropriately addressed.
  • Translate issues into action items and work plan activities
  • Proactively manage escalations through to resolution
  • Work as a crucial component of a project team responsible for identifying areas of improvement and enhancing existing systems or developing new systems.
  • Maintain Future Opportunities utilisation tracker and lessons learned databases/lists
  • Identify further opportunities for cost savings as extensions of existing tasks/ projects or new tasks/ projects
  • Responsible for allocated project budget. Performs required financial reviews including monthly accruals and capitalization reports
  • Conduct and assist in peer reviews & provide 360-degree feedback

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management
  • Ability to manage globally disperse, virtual teams across several IT Services disciplines, within a mixed insourced and outsourced environment
  • Multi-tasker with ability to successfully manage numerous projects and tasks concurrently
  • Demonstrated experience in managing digital, security or application related projects
  • Sound knowledge of PMO and Project Management industry standards and methodologies, this may include Waterfall; Agile; Scrum; Hybrid as required
  • Working in matrixed management environments
  • Deep domain knowledge in the use of a suite of EPC/EPCM project delivery-specific applications in the energy, chemicals & resources sector incl. understanding of EPCM 'data centric' project execution environment and Define (FEED) / Design (Detail design) / Procurement / Build (Construct and Commission) deliverables
  • Experience in the following related fields desirable: Data Management, Document Management, Project Information Management
  • PMP, PMI, PMBOK, Prince 2 Certification/ Accreditation or equivalent
  • Agile certification is desirable
  • ITIL Qualification and experience highly regarded
  • Assure compliance of all HSE systems, processes and procedures through the training, competence and performance of all personnel
  • Achieve the objectives of the Zero-Harm vision through proactively implementing actions and/or corrective or mitigating actions, and by maintaining an overall knowledge and awareness of the work-place environment (operations, layout, hazards, risks, concurrent activities, personnel, etc.)
  • Role-model a commitment to personal well-being and a pro-active approach to continuously improving health, safety and environmental performance
  • Experience using project management software, such as MS Project or MS Project Online
  • Competent using standard business and communications software, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint, Exchange, O365, Skype
