Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Offshore ICSS Commissioning lead to join a Project based in the North Sea

This position would be required to start as soon as possible with a Duration until March 2023 on a 3x3 rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Good working (practical) knowledge about on various process control instruments and skills to check, calibrate and repair them up to the DCS system.
  • Should have a good knowledge on DCS / PLC & ESD systems of major international makes.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Digital Electronics basics and able to use Electronic test equipment for trouble-shooting / testing purposes.
  • Participate in walkdowns and identifying any effect items in a timely manner.
  • Ensure correct technical integrity is achieved and maintained for all Instrument Systems prior to handover to Operations
  • Engineering support for the installation, set-up & commissioning of all instruments and controls systems.
  • Provide Technical input and approval for Commissioning Test Procedures
  • Provide Technical input to Site queries and review of all Instrument changes.
  • Supervise and mentor instrument technicians during loop testing and Cause and Effect testing.
  • Coordinate testing activities with BP Operations and Automation departments.
  • Prepare method statements for high risk and complex activities for SIMOPS.

Requirements

  • B.S. Graduate in Instrument / Electronics Engineering discipline from a recognized institute.
  • International experience working with major IOC's / NOC's.
  • Live offshore safety training certification (Bosiet).
  • Offshore experience.
