Description: 

As part of the Finished Lubricants, Product Strategy organization, the Account Specialist is responsible for managing the direct customer interface in the order-to-cash process including product supply and delivery, order entry, pricing, customer issues, and invoicing. This position must have a strong ability to network with internal customers within the companies’ Lubricants’ value chain and with external customers. Responsibilities: 

· Entering orders and corresponding with customers to process order changes. 

· Processing buyback credit and supplemental allowance transaction blocks and work cross-functionally to resolve. 

· Ensuring orders are placed accurately, delivery is error-free, billing is prompt and accurate, and customer needs are met. 

· Managing product shipments and follow through to ensure they arrive at customer's location on time. 

· Engage with Sales and Logistics to find alternative means of supply for customer orders in the event of a product shortage or stockout.

Role Description

The Field Representative will be primarily tasked to perform field expediting activities in their assigned region at main suppliers (including sub-suppliers). This position is expected to monitor and provide clear and accurate visibility on the progress of designated purchase orders by implementing a field strategy in alignment with the Project Lead Expeditor and Package Manager.

Your key target is to anticipate issues or delays from occurring. To do this you are expected to have a deep understanding of the vendors facilities, key personnel, manufacturing processes, capabilities and their supply chain organization.

You will be integral to the success of timely and compliant deliveries, as such you will also be expected to review relevant vendor documentation and attend progress meetings such as package health check gates.

You will be liaising closely with the Package Manager who is the purchase order representative and accountable for the overall package.

To ensure you have visibility and control of sub-order progress, when you are unable to attend physically yourself, you will make use of the project’s third-party field expeditors.

This is a rewarding position for those looking for a unique challenge, allowing you to physically follow the progress of critical packages and directly influence their successful delivery. All Field Representatives must be based physically in the country and proximity where their scope is going to be executed. + Conduct field expediting visits:

  • Confirm visit date and time with the Vendor or Sub-Vendor.
  • Prepare supporting documents and field expediting report to be used for the visits.
  • Review and Expedite Vendor documentation scope and anticipate delays that may cause a schedule impact.
  • Review Engineering status. - Review Procurement status by checking Sub-Vendor purchase orders, acknowledgements and delivery dates of the components/deliverables.
  • Review Fabrication & Assembly status to understand shop floor workload, priorities and actual physical verification of activities.
  • Review status of Inspection test activities to be carried out for the purchase order. Verify and provide a forecast of upcoming activities.
  • Review status of spare parts to be provided by the Vendor if applicable.
  • Review status of Logistics and Shipping to anticipate deliveries, compliance with approved standards, shipping documentation preview and anticipate any potential packing/preservation/loading problems at Vendor’s premises.
  • Verify HSSE working conditions.
  • Provide pictures of the activities expediting during the visit. Ensure that any material shown in pictures is traceable through documentation, markings or name plates.
  • Provide Areas of concern, highlights and recommendations based on the visit findings

+ Complete and submit regular reporting at agreed frequencies. This may be in the form of but not limited to flash reporting, live trackers, dashboarding.

+ Conduct desk activities to analyze, consolidate and action activities associated to your packages in coordination with the desk Project Expeditor.

+ Support in closing out of punch list items raised prior to final packing activities.

+ Establish an efficient professional relationship with key vendor contacts to ensure transparent and accurate information is being provided to SBM.

+ Accumulate lessons learned progressively and work on continuous improvement between SBM and our Suppliers to maximize the experience and knowledge gained from project to project.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
Instrument Controls Coordinator should have a good understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements (SSHE), provides subject matter expertise to maintenance teams. Subject matter expert for specific processes and procedures, technical matters, and equipment. Equipment types may include instrumentation, control systems, analyzers, ("I&C"). Demonstrates very strong maintenance skills for these equipment types. Able to provide support or guidance for complex trouble-shooting, may participate in constructability and maintenance design reviews and may assist engineering for routine maintenance as well as Turnaround, or new project support. Ability to influence without authority and interacts effectively with operation and maintenance organizations. Significant experience in electrical, instrumentation and controls installation activities with specific focus on confirming adherence to applicable codes, standards and design documents with regard to the oil and gas business segments.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks and Responsibilities, a Level 3:
• Assisting the contractors with clarification, interpretation, interference resolution and QA/QC related matters.
• Confirming equipment and materials arriving at site meet the engineering specifications and quantities
• Ensuring instructions, drawings and specifications for scope changes are issued in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that Health, Safety and Environment Programs are implemented and adhered to at all times
• Updating the site-wide deficiency lists to be issued at weekly construction meetings

Job Description:
The Environmental Manager is the custodian of the Environmental responsibilities of the project. You will work closely with the other H3SE teams, project management, engineering, and construction teams, as well as other key internal and external stakeholders to support achieving the company’s environmental commitments.
You will ensure the work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with the project codes, standards, drawings, and specifications and to ensure that the pipeline, AGIs, EITS and other facilities are constructed in compliance with the approved ESIA (Environment and Social Impact assessment), ESAP (Environment and Social Action Plan), BAP (Biodiversity Action Plan) and ESMPs (Environment and Social Management Plans), as well as the relevant national and international legislation and standards, and project’s policies/procedures.
Given that environmental monitoring of major construction projects including oil and gas pipeline is a developing field in in Uganda and Tanzania, it is expected that the Environmental Manager will be visiting construction sites in the field providing support, training, and capacity building to the site-based environmental teams.

Activities:
  • Environmental management of the entire project to ensure the project is executed in accordance with Project Environmental Standards including Uganda and Tanzania regulatory requirements (where applicable), company’s standards, applicable international performance standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles IV, World Bank EHS guidelines and other related best practice e.g., GIIP).
  • Interface with the Project Management Team to ensure that the Project’s Environmental requirements & commitments are well understood, and that necessary resources, process and mechanisms are available to enable compliance.

  • Attend regular scheduled project meetings as required and verify Environmental metrics and KPI’s table.
  • Support internal, government (NEMA and PAU for Uganda, and NEMC for Tanzania), private/third party, and lender Audits as necessary.
  • Owner of environmental data collected from the field. Establish and manage robust environmental data management systems.
  • Provide on-going QA/QC of environmental data and reports, e.g., contractor environmental monthly reports.
  • Environmental performance reporting as needed (e.g., daily field reports, environmental performance reports, verification, and assurance etc.).
  • Responsible for ensuring all environmental incidents are managed in accordance with project’s Incident Management System.
  • Provide Environmental inputs into local staff training and capacity building.
  • Ensure Environmental Optimum Requirements are integrated in the HSE-MS of company contractors.
  • Contribution to the emergency (Oil Spill) response preparedness during construction.

Qualifications:
  • Master of Science degree (in Natural or Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Biodiversity Conservation, Natural Resource Management, or Environmental Engineering) with at least 15 years environmental management experience in the construction and extractive industries, preferably oil and gas, onshore pipeline & related facility scopes are essential.
  • Previous environmental experience in the construction industry is essential, for large scale projects for international clients.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to articulate Environmental concerns and solutions with teams consisting of individuals with various technical and educational backgrounds.
  • Good environmental field experience and knowledge of company’s standards, applicable international performance standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles IV, World Bank EHS guidelines and other related best practice including Uganda and Tanzania regulatory requirements (where applicable).

Qualification:

The senior engineering planner shall be part of this Engineering Planning department resource pool.
The senior engineering planner is responsible for implementing, maintaining and follow-up of all engineering planning activities within a project/ tender.

SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
  • Be the focal point of contact for all activity related to engineering planning on a project or tender.

Job Description
  • Develop and lead comprehensive Loss Prevention and HSE activities for Project, ensuring all related requirements such as philosophies, codes, practices are in compliance. Provide clear guidance to the contractors and facilitate resolution of related issues to complete discipline activities consistent with project objectives and milestones.
  • Participate as technical authority ensuring technical requirements (e.g., Safety studies, calculations, datasheets, design etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide support to Engineering Division Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Accountabilities
  • Participates as a key member in the Loss Prevention and HSE activities to ensure that the Contractors comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards. Provide guidance to the Contractors to promote compliance.
  • Manage the Contractor in the safe delivery of the scope of work; verify and ensure compliance with Company SHE and Loss Prevention requirements, standards, specifications, instructions, and regulatory and environmental requirement.
  • Engage across disciplines including Process, Structural, Electrical, E&I, Piping, Mechanical, Pipeline, Risk; understand and communicate the requirements of FEED/EPC design; efficiently translate Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the Contractor.
  • Monitor the progress and delivery of the Loss Prevention and HSE work scope; verify that risk assessment plans are suitable and include required risk assessments and risk workshops as per Project phase and Company Gates requirement.
  • Assists in the plans and schedules the Loss Prevention and HSE deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Qatar operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
  • Report progress of close-out on weekly basis for presentation to management and ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Supervise and solve technical problems as they are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions. Seek guidance on areas beyond technical knowledge and manage implementation of solutions.
  • Chair meetings if required to collect and disseminate information pertaining to Loss Prevention engineering actions; advise.
  • Management in a timely manner where issues are unable to be resolved and may impact the project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and input during Project phases for the Packages, Contractor strategies/procedures to achieve project Integration objectives as required; participate in Constructability Reviews, Pre-Startup Reviews etc as required.  Lead / drive contractors to timely conduct and deliver safety studies such as QRA, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, PHA, Safety Case, SHE studies etc. per execution plan.
  • Ensure approved Loss Prevention recommendations and programs are utilized by PMT to improve safety in design and in construction, reduce inefficiencies, and maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Preferred degree in Engineering or Internationally recognized certification in loss Prevention.


Knowledge and/or experience
 
  • 10+ years of experience in discipline with preferred at least five years demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects (preferably to Carbon Capture and Storage related Projects)
  • Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
