Role Description:
The Field Representative will be primarily tasked to perform field expediting activities in their assigned region at main suppliers (including sub-suppliers). This position is expected to monitor and provide clear and accurate visibility on the progress of designated purchase orders by implementing a field strategy in alignment with the Project Lead Expeditor and Package Manager.
Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct field expediting visits to main and sub-suppliers according to the POs you have been assigned.
  • Maintain package progress tracking overviews and provide reporting as per agreed frequencies.
  • Anticipate and De-bottleneck in consultation with the Package Manager any situation that may affect the critical path of the purchase order.
  • Gather lessons learned and feedback and share them with the SBM Category Managers and Project Team.
  • Ensure that any third party personnel working with you is briefed properly and performing accordingly.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of manufacturing, supply chain, or project management experience in energy projects.
  • You have advanced experience in the packages and or manufacturing processes associated to your tentative scope of work.
  • Proven experience in field expediting and reporting.
  • Qualifications or valid certification in inspection techniques such as NDT, NACE, COMPEX, are a big plu;
  • Advanced knowledge of 2020 INCOTERMS.
  • Advanced knowledge in reviewing and understanding manufacturing schedules.
  • A valid driver license;
  • Strong Microsoft office suite skills.
  • Fluent in English as well as the language where your role is based (both written and verbally).

Responsibilities
Reporting to the lead structural engineer, you will support the structural design of foundations, steelwork for processing equipment, vessels, and pipe supports, as well as underground concrete works, culverts, and general non-processing infrastructure.

You will act as the main coordinator for workshare between various offices for assigned work areas, and perform detailed checks on work completed by workshare offices.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Participating in relevant meetings, preparing progress reports, and following required checking procedures.
  • Ensuring project scope clarity and compliance with project change management processes.
  • Providing assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, including writing requisitions, conducting technical bid evaluations, and writing purchase orders.
Additionally, you will support the lead structural engineer in:
  • Scope management and cross-disciplinary coordination to meet customer requirements.
  • Proactively resolving discrepancies between the client and its customer’s project requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
  • Identifying issues, developing solutions, and seeking assistance when needed.

Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Possess extensive experience in structural engineering design within the mining, energy, and/or infrastructure sectors.
  • Prior experience in heavy industrial or petrochemical plant projects is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with finite element programs is a plus.
  • Experience with software like MicroStation and AutoCAD would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrate a keen attitude to learn new design tools and adapt to different project delivery methods.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Possess a sound understanding of relevant local and international standards, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in using structural engineering software such as StaadPro or Spacegass.
  • Exposure to oil and gas facilities is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable working across multiple platforms and environments, including Microsoft 365 suite and various collaboration tools.

  • Prior experience of working within medium to large projects within multidiscipline environment is essential.
  • Experience in Resource sector is essential.
  • Experience in working on complex 3D modelling environment using Aveva or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Be highly driven with a focus on delivery and service.
  • Worked in a project with a 3D modelling workflow. Extensive experience in performing detailed checking roles for major projects.
  • Sound knowledge of PDMS or similar 3D modelling software is essential. Prior experience in E3D is advantageous.
  • Experience in Microstation or Autocad is required.

FIELD ELECTRICIAN / TECHNICIANS

  • Location: Wellington, NS

 

Roster variants:  

  • 8 days on, 6 days off. 
  • 4 days on, 3 days off, plus one on-call weekend with allowance per month. 
  • Both roster types work 9.5-hour days plus 30-minute break (10hr day) 

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues
  • Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training
  • Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics.
  • Valid electrical qualifications license
  • HV electrical qualification desirable
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar.
  • Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required.
  • Sound computer skills.

 

The ability to commute to work daily is crucial when working on either an 8/6 or 4/3 roster (subject to change).

You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train.

The Service provider will supervise the day-to-day activities of Valve supplier and witness the supplier activities during the fabrication works. The activity takes place in the context of the execution phase of a major project in Suriname. The Suriname GPI is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the studies managed by TotalEnergies OneTech on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of offshore Suriname Block 58. The technical challenges the GPI / Project will face are the reservoir development and management, FPSO, and subsea production/injection system. The Suriname Team will develop the Project with the objectives of maximizing economic results by optimizing the reserves, and the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focusing.

Job Description:
The Environmental Manager is the custodian of the Environmental responsibilities of the project. You will work closely with the other H3SE teams, project management, engineering, and construction teams, as well as other key internal and external stakeholders to support achieving the company’s environmental commitments.
You will ensure the work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with the project codes, standards, drawings, and specifications and to ensure that the pipeline, AGIs, EITS and other facilities are constructed in compliance with the approved ESIA (Environment and Social Impact assessment), ESAP (Environment and Social Action Plan), BAP (Biodiversity Action Plan) and ESMPs (Environment and Social Management Plans), as well as the relevant national and international legislation and standards, and project’s policies/procedures.
Given that environmental monitoring of major construction projects including oil and gas pipeline is a developing field in in Uganda and Tanzania, it is expected that the Environmental Manager will be visiting construction sites in the field providing support, training, and capacity building to the site-based environmental teams.

Activities:
  • Environmental management of the entire project to ensure the project is executed in accordance with Project Environmental Standards including Uganda and Tanzania regulatory requirements (where applicable), company’s standards, applicable international performance standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles IV, World Bank EHS guidelines and other related best practice e.g., GIIP).
  • Interface with the Project Management Team to ensure that the Project’s Environmental requirements & commitments are well understood, and that necessary resources, process and mechanisms are available to enable compliance.
  • Act as lead interface between Company and Contractors team members regarding environmental management, compliance, audits, monitoring and associated activities, providing environmental regulatory advice as required.
  • Participate & provide input to the development of Contractor Control Plans (CCP), Contractor Implementation Plans and Procedures (CIPP), oversee contractor implementation of ESIA, ESMP, ESAP, BAP commitments and other related project documents.
  • Work with Contractors to ensure environmental plans, procedures and method statements are suitable, and monitor implementation to ensure compliance.
  • Provide environmental advice and solutions related to aspects such as environmental permitting/licensing, waste management, air quality, noise, hazardous materials management, soil management, erosion and sediment control, water quality, waste, and rehabilitation etc.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Project Environment Verification and Assurance Program and develop additional tools (if necessary) to support the implementation of such.
  • Build and maintain strong and solid working relationship & engage with management representatives and, construction team.
  • Participate in project Go/No-Go, and Environment reviews for project mobilization.
  • Review and approve of Contractor’s submitted project environmental documents, such as Method Statements, EMP, SOP’s and WMS etc.
  • Ensure any environmental design mitigations are captured in CONTRACTORS EMP and related procedures.
  • Actively participate in the company audit and self-assessment program for environmental compliance.
  • Attend regular scheduled project meetings as required and verify Environmental metrics and KPI’s table.
  • Support internal, government (NEMA and PAU for Uganda, and NEMC for Tanzania), private/third party, and lender Audits as necessary.
  • Owner of environmental data collected from the field. Establish and manage robust environmental data management systems.
  • Provide on-going QA/QC of environmental data and reports, e.g., contractor environmental monthly reports.
  • Environmental performance reporting as needed (e.g., daily field reports, environmental performance reports, verification, and assurance etc.).
  • Responsible for ensuring all environmental incidents are managed in accordance with project’s Incident Management System.
  • Provide Environmental inputs into local staff training and capacity building.
  • Ensure Environmental Optimum Requirements are integrated in the HSE-MS of company contractors.
  • Contribution to the emergency (Oil Spill) response preparedness during construction.

Qualifications:
  • Master of Science degree (in Natural or Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Biodiversity Conservation, Natural Resource Management, or Environmental Engineering) with at least 15 years environmental management experience in the construction and extractive industries, preferably oil and gas, onshore pipeline & related facility scopes are essential.
  • Previous environmental experience in the construction industry is essential, for large scale projects for international clients.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to articulate Environmental concerns and solutions with teams consisting of individuals with various technical and educational backgrounds.
  • Good environmental field experience and knowledge of company’s standards, applicable international performance standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles IV, World Bank EHS guidelines and other related best practice including Uganda and Tanzania regulatory requirements (where applicable).
  • Good track record of working experience with lender financed projects e.g., WB, IFC, EBRD, ADB, AFD, KfW, AfDB, EIB, Standard Bank, Standard Chartered etc.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 31000.
  • Knowledge of Uganda and Tanzania regulations desirable.
  • Experience working in African countries especially East Africa is desirable but not compulsory.
  • Experience in analyzing environmental data to report accurate KPI’s and potential non-compliance status back to the project management team.
  • Competency within industry applications such as Assure, OMIE, Aconex, SharePoint, Adobe, MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.

Key Responsibilities and background:
The Process Commissioning Lead is responsible for the preparation and execution of process systems commissioning. Coordinate all other disciplines to achieve full completion of subsystems, defining the strategy and ensuring relevant procedures and documents have been prepared.
 
  • Implementation of the Project safety management systems during the planning and execution of Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Startup project phases, adapting them to the specific needs and unique risks.
  • Responsible for HSSE performance for all personnel and facilities under their control

  • Provide engineering support during the commissioning phase, working closely with the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with the Field engineering team to update design documents based on commissioning feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering procedures, codes, standards & approved codes of practice.
  • Keep updated the Commissioning Sequence and provide input into project plans and schedules, achievement of agreed schedule.
  • Ensure that Process commissioning activities are properly organized, scheduled, and conducted in a structured and safe manner, to test and certify that the installed equipment/systems, comply with the agreed performance parameters indicated in the design documents and specifications.
  • Responsible for the safe and timely execution of all Commissioning activities and integration of these activities with both Project and Operations.
  • Report daily progress and work scope completion ensuring all issues, identified risks and concerns are clearly communicated and addressed.
  • Cooperate and support the Operations team in the execution of Start-up activities.
  • In coordination with the CMT Lead, prepare and organize the progressive Transfer of Operation and Maintenance of the facilities to CPY Field Operation Team (TOM Dossiers, Electrical isolation, As Commissioned documents etc…)

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Substantial experience in Oil & Gas industry with similar large-scale projects & environment as Process Engineer.
  • Must exhibit a strong track record of completion and success in delivery of commissioning and projects safely.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing). Excellent communication skills
