Our Oil & Gas client is seeking a HR Administrator to join the People Group team in a Perth based, 12 month contract.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all People Group and payroll enquiries. Determine which resource the task or query should be assigned to and track through to completion.
  • Prepare letters, contracts and other correspondence to a timeframe and standard that meets required processes and standards.
  • Monitor expiry dates and provide managers with reminders of required actions to meet process requirements (e.g.: probationary reviews; max term contract expiry; completion of acting assignments; payment dates; etc.).
  • Stakeholder liaison internal and external as required via phone, email and in person.
  • Organise and maintain personnel records to ensure absolute clarity of information.
  • Finance reporting requirements. Provide ad hoc reports as requested, including analysis of trends and recommendations for action.
  • Use tracking spreadsheets and databases to track progress and completion of service requests.
  • Provide admin assistance to the Recruitment and Administration teams as requested/other priorities allow.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate positively and professionally.
  • Working knowledge of administrative processes, including the ability to compare current systems with best-practice options.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing multiple tasks.
  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with databases and/or HR information systems.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of an effective team.
