About the role
Our Client, an Australian based Energy company, are looking to enhance their future project delivery capability by bringing on a Graduate Project Engineer into the team.
This role will see you working alongside a large team of professional Engineering and Project Management professionals, and get involved in a range of end-to-end workload, primarily within a project delivery scope.
This will include scoping work, reviewing contracts to ensuring contractual compliance, planning activities, quality assurance, review of procedures and guidelines, amongst many other things. This role will support exiting operations and projects, and potentially support future workload both within Australia and oversea projects.
Salary range is between $85,000 and $95,000/year plus package.
About you (Skills and Experience)
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (mandatory). Further study specific to project management or project delivery is highly desirable.
You will be passionate about the Energy sector, and be seeking to build a long term career in the industry. As this role will interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, evidenced by an ability to build high-trust relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Ideally you will have some demonstrated experience in applying your theoretical knowledge in a practical way, ideally within an oil & gas project environment.
