The Role

On behalf of our client, we require an experienced Document Controller to support a new project. The role is Perth CBD based, standard metro hours (flexible working arrangements available) on a 12 month contract.

Key duties and responsibilities will consist of and are not limited to:

• Recording and tracking all technical documentation produced by the project team, suppliers and third parties;
• Accurately recording and reporting the status of project deliverables and completing an audit trail in compliance with ISO:9001;
• Compiling data to form the permanent technical record of the project;
• Interact effectively with all stakeholders using clear, fluent and expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and previous experience in a similar role within the Resources sector.

• Proficient in the use of various Electronic Document Management Systems (Aconex advantageous) and MS Office Suite products

• Good working knowledge of Document Control processes and procedures

• A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments.

• Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.

• Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.

• Able to work effectively in the project team, and share and transfer knowledge within the team.
