Energy Resourcing are currently working with one of the worlds leading engineering companies specifically working on the construction, engineering and development of a state of the art facility.

You will be part of a Procurement and Contracting department, and you will be involved in all project phases from feasibility studies to execution phase. We offer a stimulating work environment with varying tasks within design, calculation, construction management and project management. You will have daily contact with people on the construction sites and be one of the contact persons for Customers. In a project team you will receive a broad competence in industrial construction both locally and internationally.
Specific Lead Accountabilities
Acts as Contracting Specialist for medium sized projects.Instructs and monitors team members in the execution of their work.Purchases requisitioned bulk materials, fabricated products and equipment at the most advantageous prices consistent with the required quality and scheduled delivery dates.Evaluates the commercial parts of the vendors' bids (a.o. reliability, shop workload, pricing, delivery times, payment and delivery conditions). Ensures the coordination between Purchasing, Expediting, Shipping and Inspection Negotiates and manages the contracts for construction and any other required service contracts on time.Takes the responsibility for the claim's management and the final settlement of all contracts.Coordinates with the Customer's procurement representative and Project Manager and maintains good relations.
To succeed in this role, you have:
- A bachelor or a master's degree in (commercial) engineering or operate at the same level based on your relevant experience.
- Experience in coaching people and driving organizational changes.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in contracting and/or procurement.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
- Embrace the global perspective of the EPCM business.
- Good experience of AB04, ABT06, ABK09
- Experience from SAP is preferred.
It is a merit having experience in the process, chemical, refinery industry or energy sector. It is also meritorious to have experience in procurement for capital investments.
