Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting a Concept Study Lead on a permanent basis, working from Aberdeen with a hybrid working pattern available.
- Leading teams to create compelling bids for work through exciting project opportunities.
- Assuring high-quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures to nurture existing and future client relationships.
- Provide oversight to multi-disciplined project teams, delivering studies including contractual deliverables to the agreed schedule, trouble-shooting any issues as they arise.
- Overseeing bid and project reports and presentations.
- Presenting work to clients, virtually and face-to-face through reports and presentations as required.
- You will have the opportunity to work directly with our Market Director and Business Development team in building long term trusted relationships with our clients - both established and emerging with the energy transition - to identify opportunities.
- Involvement in a large variety of work, including greenfield studies, asset re-use and optimization, concept development through to FEED and offshore commissioning as described above.
- The ideal candidate must have a process background with previous experience in leading multiple teams to create compelling bids for work through project/feed opportunities.
- Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Energy industry is essential.
- Broad engineering knowledge/experience allowing technical coordination/collaboration with experts from a variety of technical disciplines, including process, flow assurance, pipelines, structures, naval architecture, safety, and low carbon.
- Experience in feasibility, concept selection and front-end engineering studies.
- Offshore experience would be preferred but not essential.
- Project engineering skills to ensure studies and projects are delivered within agreed budgets and schedules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable in working in new and changing environments.
- Able to motivate self and teams, deal with conflict and create strong delivery culture.
- Drive safe practices and lead by example in all safety matters.
- Ability to track and record in managing resources across multiple delivery locations to create high performing teams.
