Business Development Representative
Position: Full Time: 6-12-month Contract
Location: Houston, TX

Our client is an oil and gas laboratory services company with a technology platform that is changing the industry. Their customers are empowered with first-of-its-kind data insights, leading to better decisions that significantly impact the bottom line. Our client is quickly growing and needs help establishing and connecting with Oil & Gas companies in Houston, TX, which is why they are looking for a proven performer with experience selling Hydraulic Fracturing Chemistry/Services or Lab Services into the world’s top companies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain qualified company and contact target lists
  • Direct outreach including cold calling and LinkedIn messaging
  • Attend relevant industry events to increase market awareness and generate business leads
  • Supports the Business Development Team with business intelligence and market research
  • Generate 15 – 20 sales meetings a month by connecting with new clients and the utilization of existing book of business
  • Develop new contacts for our clients through Account Based Research (ABR) via LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Hubspot and other databases
  • Coordinate meeting logistics and site-visits
  • Prepares reports on lead performance and quality, marketing performance, and other metrics to drive strategies and team efficiencies.
  • Help track opportunities through the sales funnel, ensuring high-quality follow-up
  • Creates content for major bids,
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in selling Hydraulic Fracturing Chemistry/Services or Lab Services is a must
  • 5- 15 years in either Business Development or proven success with Lead Generation
  • Experience in technology and/or the oil & gas industry is an asset
