Energy Resourcing are a leading recruitment consultancy providing technical recruitment and contractor management services to the energy industry with regional offices across the globe. We support a major EPC engineering contractor to the oil and gas industry alongside other external clients of the energy industry.



To develop business and exceed sales projections by continually identifying new recruitment and resourcing opportunities for the Energy Resourcing business. This will be accomplished through developing business with new external customers, building relationships and enhancing the profile and image of the company.

Business Development Activities

Prospect, pursue and convert target customers into live accounts

Execute the business development strategy

Lead and support negotiations in agreeing terms of business with prospect clients

Be responsible for generation of new leads utilising internal database.

Support the development of marketing literature, and preparing sales proposals and quotations

Be aware of the group activities in the industry and opportunities for new services, solutions or markets

Demonstrate an overall awareness of quality issues and a commitment to continuous quality improvement

To contribute in agreeing budgets in line with market movements and report on these targets on a monthly basis

Visit customer offices regularly

Keep continuous contact with customers and prospects to build and maintain relationships

Ensure excellent customer service at all times

Commitment to safety and being a safety champion to peers and our customers

Skills / Qualifications


Understanding of recruitment processes

Experience in previous BD role

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have experience with MS office and familiarity with sales databases

Must have a high sense of urgency and be able to meet deadlines
