Business Development Executive

Permanent role – Part time

Our client is a professional services firm specializing in Digital Transformation and Organizational Change Management with 10 years of experience leading large, complex and strategic initiatives with Tier-1 clients. To support our growth plans we are looking to add an experienced Business Development Executive, based in Calgary, to the team. This is intended to be a part-time position, with the ideal target of approximately 40-50% utilization.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for uncovering new opportunities for this client. Focused on digital transformation verticals and in professional services realms.

Alongside a strong drive for new business, the successful candidate will have established relationships in the Calgary market to help prospect, nurture, and secure business with clients.


Leverage your established network of executive leadership and key decision-makers across industries to help drive digital transformation opportunities

Versed in the professional services industry and highly comfortable in interacting with the C-suite

Deep understanding of client priorities, needs, expectations, and how to translate those into service offerings

Identify, connect, nurture, and develop new relationships with clients

Use your deep experience in Professional Services and Digital Transformation to act as a trusted partner and advocate for both clients and EPM

Signed new contracts and SOW’s will be the measurement of success in this role

Skills you’ll need to be successful:

Solid experience selling professional services specifically focusing on: Digital Transformation, Cloud, ERP, and other enterprise-level consulting initiatives

Demonstrated business development experience with a passion to close deals for both client and provider

Existing C-suite level relationship experience

Established relationships in Tier-1 and mid-market

Solution-driven and out-of-the-box thinker

Strong experience in RFP/Proposal writing
