Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting on behalf of Worley for Advanced Inspection Technicians to join the Offshore Wind team on a permanent contract.

The Advanced Inspection Technician will be responsible for offering a client tailored, bespoke inspection service to all areas on and offshore as directed by the company, including product specific inspection and maintenance. Tasks include the Inspection of Pressure Systems, Safety Equipment, Lifting Equipment, Slinging & Banksman duties, Lifts, Cranes and Davits.

Key aims and objectives:

  • Thorough examinations in accordance with company/client/ legislative requirements, testing and certification of certain types and classes of lifting equipment as well as safety equipment, PPE and fall arrest equipment as well as access and egress equipment
  • Interpret instructions and issues arising, raising, and implementing actions according to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction whilst looking after the company’s best interests at the same time.
  • Compile and produce comprehensive examination reports
  • Input data into the inspection services online certification management data base (Motion Kinetic) within the client specified time frame
  • Attend Client Facilities when required and behave in an appropriate and respectful manner at all times
  • Must have an extensive understating of the requirements of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Must have the ability to create Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Ability to present a toolbox talk to all team members
  • Ability to follow clear instructions from the senior techs as well as the project team members
  • Ability to understand and follow company/client specific health and safety requirements, guidelines, and safe systems of work
  • Mentoring, training and assessing of inspection technicians may be required
  • Ability to carry out in depth inspection and evaluation of pressure systems
  • Ability to function test/witness protective devices
  • Ability to review Written Schemes of Examination (WSE)
  • Acting as the team lead may be required
  • Ability to carry out in depth inspection and evaluation of Lifts
  • Ability to carry out in depth inspection and evaluation of Cranes
  • Ability to carry out in depth inspection and evaluation of Davits
