What do you do at Energy Resourcing?
I’m a CMS Advisor for Energy Resourcing in the UK. I provide end-to-end support to our contractors from the issuing of the offer to the end of their contract.
Are you working on any specific projects at the moment?
Yes, I’m currently busy onboarding contractors for Anglo America, which is a mine near Whitby, England.
How did you get into your current career?
I originally started in CMS working on a project within Worley. However, when worked started to wind down on that project, I was transferred over to the Energy Resourcing team. That was 5 years ago, and I’ve been here ever since!
What’s the best part of your job?
It’s always a really busy hectic time for the CMS team, which can often be quite stressful. I’m very lucky that I have great colleagues that I can have a laugh with. It certainly makes challenging situations, that little bit easier!
What keeps you at Energy Resourcing?
Again, the team. I know that might sound a little cliché, but it’s true. We have a real close-knit team and I know I can always rely on my colleagues whenever I need.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to spend my spare time exploring, getting out on walks when and where I can! I love going on holiday, which for obvious reasons hasn’t been an option lately but hopefully with the world slowly opening up again, we might be able to get on a few more!
If you hadn’t got into your current career… what would you have become?
Possibly a nurse? I’m always changing my mind so who really knows!
