What do you do at Energy Resourcing?

I work as a CMS specialist for Energy Resourcing in our office in Houston and my primary focus is onboarding, ensuring the smooth transition of contractors into the workplace

Are you working on any specific projects at the moment?

I’m currently working on organising our new SharePoint portal for North America.

How did you get into your current career?

When I moved from Arkansas to Texas, it opened the door to the Oil & Gas industry. From there I was exposed to new opportunities which ultimately led me to my role at Energy Resourcing.

What’s the best part of your job?

The interaction with people, especially the joy they have obtaining a job. 

What challenges have you had to overcome to get to where you are today?

As you can imagine, like others in the industry, the ups and downs of the market are quite a challenge to face.

Any words of wisdom you live by?

Take away a learning experience from each day.

What keeps you at Energy Resourcing?

My team and the people I work with definitely! It’s a nice bunch to work alongside

What do you like to do outside of work? 

In my free time I help out at  Habitat for Humanity, Dress for Success and assist the elderly in my neighborhood.  I also love getting to spend time with my family. 

If you hadn’t got into your current career… what would you have become?

Most likely a nurse 🙂
