Energy Resourcing has expanded its rapidly growing business by establishing Energy Resourcing Netherlands B.V. and Energy Resourcing Germany GmbH. This move comes as a further commitment to our growth strategy and supports Energy Resourcing’s expanding portfolio of work for continental Europe.
Strengthening our commitment to Europe
Behind this exciting announcement are Energy Resourcing’s Sean MacGloin, Director – Europe & Global Growth; and Hanno Gahmann, General Manager – Germany & The Netherlands. Both, responsible for a strategy that will see the Netherlands develop as the regional support hub for business undertaken in Europe. This shift provides us with significant further opportunities to leverage our ability to support clients in the vast German market.

Supporting the energy transition
The Netherlands offers great potential for expansion. With a robust business environment, good transport links and firm commitments to a net-zero future, we view this as an ideal location to help grow our European presence. In addition, the Netherlands is ranked 9th on the EY Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index (RECAI).
Significant investment is planned for the Netherlands, as energy producers align with those countries that intend to meet their zero-carbon (CO2) commitments by 2050. At the same time, a report commissioned by Eon has indicated that Germany will need to invest €32bn by 2030 and €110bn in total to achieve its clean energy ambitions.
Energy producers must also maintain investment in the current energy supply system to retain production during the transition period. However, this puts tremendous pressure on the demand for experienced project management, engineering, technical and support staff. All to ensure our clients meet their projects’ cost, schedule, and HSE targets.
